Meet The Face Behind Avivi Electric
I’m Farid Avivi, also known as Freddie, the proud owner of Avivi Electric. I look forward to sharing my story. I hope that you will enjoy getting to know me better.
My reasons for choosing the electrical field as a career were simple. Twenty years ago, my wife, who was then my girlfriend, was attending college and getting ready to graduate. I thought she might get offered a job that could require her to relocate, and I decided to pursue the electrical field because no matter where we went, electricians are needed!
In 2000, I began my career with Altmann Electric, a small family-based business located in Cranford, NJ, and then went through the IBEW (International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers) apprenticeship program, a six-year course to become an electrical journeyman.
In the twenty years I have been in this business, I have strived to grow, develop and have always looked for ways to improve my service. Whether it was purchasing an additional vehicle to maximize my efficiency or adding service-based software to enhance my communication lines, I have been sure to adapt and change to meet the demands of my clientele and provide a more pleasurable experience.
The part of my job I find the most enjoyable is the feeling of completion and satisfaction I get when I hand over a project to a satisfied customer. I also find my ability to see the final result right at the beginning of the project and the process of building it from scratch highly rewarding and inspiring.
I run my business based on responsiveness, communication and dedication to my trade and the people I serve. I am also known for my focus, attention to detail, accountability and transparency.
As an individual, I believe what sets me apart from the others is my ambition, drive and never-say-die attitude that has got me to where I am today.
I attribute my success to my family, staff and the fantastic people I choose to surround myself with. My customer-centric approach to my business has additionally allowed me to relate and build long-lasting relationships with my clients, helping my business grow even in times of adversity.
I can honestly say that being of service to my community has given me immense satisfaction over the years and continues to motivate me to be the best.
When I am not at work, I am still always busy. I love spending time with my family and two beautiful kids. When we are not at a farm fruit picking, I also love to play basketball and try to fit a couple of games into my schedule every week.
I have enjoyed sharing my story about the things which matter to me and how they influence the way I do business.
